Delicious and affordable new summer wines from the Iberian Peninsula and South Africa available from Beaucatcher this weekend.

We have: a stunning new Rioja Alavesa from Sierra de Tolono. Fruit forward with juicy acidity and great length. Perfect with steak. £14.26
Do try the delightful and very quaffable Garnacha from Monfil in Carinena, Aragon. Good easy drinking and very adaptable. Definitely one for the Barbi. £9.15
We also have the silver medal winner from the 2017 International Wine Challenge – Bodegas Nodus’ ‘Chaval’, which means new kid on the block and its certainly that with its deliciously spicy, deep fruit. A steal at £8.75. One to have with a plate of jamon.
We also have some delicious new summer white wines which includes Maga Kama di Sil’s Godello from Galicia which has wonderful freshness alongside good minerality with dried fruit and herb notes. Would be yummy with fish and shellfish and amazing value at £12.95. Please also try Haskell Vineyards Dombeya Chardonnay from Stellenbosch, It’s super sophisticated and more Burgundian in style than New World. Shows great poise and balance and not too heavy a price at £14.15 But if its just easy an eaay drinking white for the garden or by the beach you could do no better than Casa da Senra’s Vinho Verde Loureiro; with only 11,5% alcohol this is definitely one for a balmy summer afternoon. And only £11.85.
