Our new ‘natural’ wines from Maquina y Tabla and Tentenublo are now in stock at Beaucatcher Wines, Rye. Paramos de Nicasia Verdejo is blended with a with a touch of Malvasia and the result is an incredibly complex, multi -layered wine that has lots of rich, spicy, appley fruit with a bright, rounded slightly nutty palate. You pick up more and more fruit nuances with each sip. Their red is made form Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo) and comes from 50 to 60 year old vines, this is soft and spicy wine with a ‘real natural’ nose to it. There’s a lovely hint of ‘petillant’ on the first sip which then opens on to a richly textured palate of cherry and plum, with some nice old vine intensity and minerality. All in all a joy to drink and beautifully packaged too. Go on take a walk on the wild side and buy a bottle or two. Both are priced south of £16.
